It’s obvious, right? Although they have the same meaning, bike rentals Colorado is a better fit. So, in your campaign for bike rentals, using keyphrases like bike rentals, bike rentals in Colorado, and bike rentals pricing are considered relevant. But, even though they are popular keywords, you have to make specifics as possible.
The second factor: click-through rate.
Each of your campaign ads will have impressions and actual clicks metrics. The click-through rate (CTR) is based on the number of views. If your ads acquire a higher CTR, that means your ad has better relevance than the others.
Now, Google will check the third factor: your account history.
Although it is a minor factor compared to the two, it still has a significant role in helping Google determine whether your brand provides legitimate, high-quality products and services.
But, while you are busy tidying up on your AdWords account, you also have to consider the other side– your landing page. Once a user clicks on your ad, they will be directed to the landing page.
So, it has to be relevant to their searchers. If they click on your bike rental campaign, then bike rentals should be the topic of the landing page.
More so, it is essential to have a user-friendly landing page. People might leave or bounce from your website if it looks sketchy or challenging to navigate.
A high bounce rate means your page sucks, and that’s a negative sign to Google! Your Quality Score will be affected and might drop below those ad campaigns that have better landing pages.
Meanwhile, your ad rank is your Quality Score multiplied by your maximum bid. The result will predict which position you will appear in.

The cost-per-click that you have to pay is determined by the competitors and scores. Thus, for you to pay, Google Ads will assess your maximum bid, geographic location, Quality scores, and ad rank to compare it to your competitors.
Cost-per-clicks greatly vary as it would base on the demand search and the competitiveness of your keywords. But, you don’t have to worry, Google Ads is pretty cheap! The average cost per click for Google ads in Australia ranges from $7 to $30 per click. In other countries, the average costs may be lower.
But, you don’t have to worry about the cost– you would make back more of your costs if you just know what you are doing!
